Rainbow Pregnancies of Madison
Pregnancy After Loss Support
Expecting again after losing your precious baby can be another emotional journey. There are often conflicting emotions - joy and excitement mixed with grief and fear. Expecting moms often need additional support and find more comfort with other moms who are also pregnant again after loss. Rainbow Pregnancies of Madison is a supportive and safe place for mothers during their rainbow pregnancies. There is a private Facebook support page and monthly informal meetings.
During a subsequent pregnancy you are always welcome to the monthly Bereaved Parents Support group. It is also safe place to discuss your feelings. Many of us have found hope again in seeing others try again for another baby.

It was extremely helpful to have the support of others also going through a pregnancy after loss. I didn't feel like a "normal" pregnant woman and everyone in this group understood that. They understood my fears and anxieties. Not only did they help me get through my pregnancy; but, now I know many other mothers who have rainbows who can continue to be a support system even after the baby was born.

The rainbow pregnancy group was not only a safe and supportive place for my fears after pregnancy but also my excitements. I never wanted to share too much excitement with my regular circle, feeling that so many are unaware of the fear that I was staring at. Rainbow pregnancy mamas never lost sight of my collective experience. Being pregnant after loss if full of stress and fears. It was so helpful having the support, both online and at meetings. Somewhere to share not only my fears but my excitements too in a safe a knowing space.

Dads
Unfortunatly, we do not specifically offer pregnancy after loss support for dads. If you are a partner who would like to connect with others, please let us know and we can do our best to help you make personal connections locally. There is also a Facebook page (not affiliated with BPoM), that may be a good place to find support. https://m.facebook.com/groups/428305164008564
