Chelsey joined us in August 2018 and took on the Programs and Events Committee Chair of the board. Chelsey plans our frequent member events for parents, moms, dads and siblings.

Chrissy
​Director at Large and HUGS Trainer

We experienced both our losses in 2016. In January, our daughter, Harper Lindsay, was diagnosed with Alobar Holoprosencephaly at 20 weeks. There was a 3% chance we would make it to full term pregnancy and if we did, she would die immediately. After consulting with several Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists, we made the most painful decision; one no parent should ever have to make. We did not want our little girl to suffer. We decided to terminate the pregnancy at almost 22 weeks. I cannot express how heartbreaking it was to end a WANTED pregnancy. Later that year, I miscarried our second child at 9 weeks. As a mother who has lost her only two children, the support we received from BPoM along with connecting with other bereaved parents was life changing. These incredible people helped us to feel less alone and gave us a safe place to talk about our babies. I am honored and proud to be a part of HUGS and to help support families that suffer from this profound loss.

Jennifer joined us in January 2023 and is training to be the next BPOM Treasurer.

Emily is one of the original board members from June 2015. She has been very active as the Support Group Committee Chair and Co-chair for the HUGS Committee.

Rebecca
Rainbow Pregnancies of Madison (RPoM) Committee Chair

Rebecca was instrumental in the incorporation of Bereaved Parents of Madison, Inc as a 501(c)3 non-profit. She then served a two year term as Director At Large on the board from 2016-2018. Rebecca continues to volunteer as the Rainbow Pregnancies of Madison (RPoM) Committee Chair.
