Events

Please join us at our welcoming, low-pressure social events, which provide a safe and supportive environment for bereaved parents to come together to share their stories, celebrate and remember our loved ones, or simply spend time with others who understand the unique journey of loss.

Whether you're looking for quiet reflection or a casual conversation, our free events are designed to offer connection and community. Every person’s grief is different, and here, you are always welcome, just as you are. Contact us at events@bereavedparentsofmadison.com with questions.

Explore our upcoming gatherings and know that you don’t have to walk this path alone.

BPOM Annual Holiday Remembrance Service

Our Annual Holiday Remembrance Service is always scheduled for the first Saturday of December. In-person and virtual options are available.

All members of BPOM are invited. This is a peaceful non-religious event that includes readings, music, and the reading of the baby names. In order to read your baby(ies) name(s), we send out invitations with details on how you can provide us with this information.

Invites will be sent via mail at the end of October. If you would like to receive an invitation, please email your contact information and details to bereavedparentsofmadison@gmail.com.

Joining BPoM has been a saving grace for me. It’s so comforting to see how others navigate through loss and learn from their experiences. Even the way we talk about death has changed so much, and it’s made it so much easier to connect with others. It’s heartbreaking to know that some of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met have been affected by loss, but I’m so grateful to know them.
